Students worked on Lesson 18 (Division with remainders) and Lesson 21 (Division with remainders using the area model and distributive property)... The links are below...

Monday's homework for Lesson 18 includes problems 7, 11 and 12 and Tuesday's homework is Lesson 21 (problems 7-10)...
During Science, students completed the IB Summative Assessment for Unit 2 (Power Influences the Function of Systems)... They had to select a system and mention it's function, all components or parts of the system and how they are connected and /or work together. In addition, they were required to describe the power found in the system. Students (partners) also finalized the Simple Machines mural (hunt)...
The High Touch High Tech program is tomorrow. The title is Meteorology Madness.
REMINDER: The Simple Machines project is due December 6th (Wednesday) and the guidelines are attached.
Finally, students will be taking the WriteScore assessment this week (informative)...

We are working on Forces and Motion. Students will complete a project in science this week. They select their topic and show (via writing and illustrations) the vocabulary terms that are evident during the selected activity, hobby or environment. The terms addressed are balanced force, unbalanced force, gravity and friction.
